In my view, the best place to have breakfast or brunch in the area. The tofu scramble is excellent and flavorful. The acai bowl is a large portion with nice sides. The cakes are best I've tried. Rich, not overly sweet, and decent portion.

Where to begin. Told 10-15 minutes to be seated. Actual waiting time was 38 minutes. Table we were given did not have enough seats for our party, meaning 3 people had to squeeze into a booth made for 2. When food came out, one meal was entirely forgotten and had to be made late, and when it did come out, the burger had the wrong condiments and sauce and had to be remade a second time. Chicken and waffles was a Belgian waffle with exactly four bites of fried chicken. For $16. Waitress’ response was, and I quote: “yeah, it’s a little small.” Will include picture for hilarity of the meal (took two bites of waffle before picture was snapped). While eating, members of our party witnessed a waitress eating toast in customer view, picking her nose while on her phone, and a different waitress somehow managed to leave urine all over the seat of a toilet right before a member of our party used it. Laughably bad experience, do not recommend.

Sat outside with a friend. Good waitstaff with prompt service. She took our order quickly. It did take a bit for the food to arrive. I had eggs, toast and fruit. All very good. My only complaint was the prices on the menu. All of the breakfast items basically started at $14. That seems a lot for breakfast.

Slow and salty Went on a Sunday morning so not expecting to be seated immediately. Pleasantly surprised to get a table within 5 minutes. If you are a fan of Crime in Sports, that was grace because it went down hill from there. Our order was pretty basic - 2x of the “signature” corn beef hash and a big green and two coffees. If you are a breakfast place, I’m going to judge you on your coffee. Theirs was slow arriving and not that great. Actually, in hindsight the coffee came lightening fast compared to the rest of the food. 25 minutes after ordering our food came. It was cold, burned and salty. Not a good combination. Maybe it was just a bad day but since both orders of hash were the same saltiness, I’m guessing it was normal. Added note - they had tables open for social distancing which is admirable.. but then they crammed three tables into a corner. What are you thinking? Do better Lou

Yes, I believe it's eggsandbacon, but you are not encouraged to sit and do work when they are busy
Seems like they care and take the threat seriously, but it's a small place so social distance is a challenge if eating inside. I got togo and it was hot and tasty
Hi Ulf! The dining room will be open from 7am to 3pm and the bakery will stay open until 5pm. Hope to see you!
7am to 3pm!
Yes! But only for special order. You can order them here: https://www.lousrestaurant.com/products/cinnamon-roll
I'm pretty sure they have gift cards. You could check on their site or go visit.
Yes you can! You can order over the phone and they will ship it.
While you won't find a mix for their muffins, Lou's does sell their granola, as well as pancake batter, maple syrup, and some jams. You could always visit the restaurant and ask if they would consider selling mixes of their baked goods. Most restaurants - and especially bakeries - will not share their recipes, though you can look for copycat recipes online. The rare exception in this area is King Arthur Flour, which sells mixes for various products and has a number of recipes available online.
