How can Sears Appliance Guarantee Service when they do not show up. Now I am starting to understand why this company is going out of business. First let’s start by saying I have used this service for many years. But the way I treated this last appointment! Was given a window 10-2. Around 1:30 I called to get status. Was told tech canceled appointment due to no one home. Strange never left my property. Checked my phone no missed calls and checked my ring app no video of tech. Service said this was not acceptable! We will try to get someone out within 2 hours. Great finally being treated like a true customer! 2 hours go buy nothing. I call back. Called customer service back. Didn’t get her name unfortunately the way I was spoken to you would think I never did business with this company. We have no record of you calling and the tech canceled service best we can do I’d get service out in 2 weeks!!! What!!! I decided to hang up and call back. This time better service amazing was able to get appointment in 4 days. But had to take 2 separate days out of work and every time I asked for manager( sorry no one available!! Kept appointment for now but will most likely cancel. Can not stand being treated like dirt by a company that I give my money to!!!

Sears have services my craftsman lawn tractor twice, and I've been impressed with the customer service both times. This time the service tech didn't have replacement blades on his truck, so they were shipped to me and he cam back (at no additional charge) a week or so later to instal them. A $900 lawn tractor deserves some maintenance!

I will never purchase anything from Sears again. Although I don't fault the service people - it's Sears that is totally off my list. Our washing machine, on which I had purchased several extended warranties, was acting up. A nice repairman came within a week or so and said he fixed it, but it was not fixed. Another repairman came, again in about a week and said the drum was frozen and he would have to order parts and that would take about three weeks. We prevailed upon him to put in an emergency order and made another appointment for him to fix the machine in about a week. When he came, he opened the box with the new drum, and it was cracked. We would have to wait another three weeks for it to be fixed. I went out an purchased a Speed Queen from Gil's. The other washing machine is now sitting in the garage fixed, but totally superfluous. I tried to call Sears to ask for a year's warranty on it, but not only did they turn me down and refuse to let me talk to a Supervisor, but they ultimately hung up on me while I was on hold. I would have been better off using the money I spent on the extended warranty to purchase a new washing machine elsewhere. I'm glad I don't own any Sears stock.
