I have been doing business with Joel the owner for several years now and I am very pleased with my experience there. He has always been honest and dependable and able to able to explain why certain repairs are either necessary or optional. I own an older boat so having that type of analysis is extremely valuable. He's not just looking to make a quick buck in the short term. He would rather establish a long-term, trusting relationship, which he has with me. So much so that when my motor failed catastrophically shortly after I purchased my current boat, I was fortunate enough to purchase a used motor from him that was actually his own personal boat motor. So I have 1st hand knowledge of how well he cares for his own equipment, and in turn, how well he he cares for his customers equipment. I highly recommend his his service and would not hesitate to purchase another used motor from him in the future. He is also extremely reasonable with his Winter storage rates and shrink wrap.

I also had him add electric start and a pull starter to the motor. Joel is extremely knowledgeable about all types of motors and gave me a great price! Joel is a master at what he does. In my case, he outfitted a 1958 Whirlwind with a beautifully reconditioned 70 HP Evinrude. The motor starts and runs great, and it's perfectly mounted. He installed the controls and new hydraulic steering - all of which are smooth and steady. He rounded out the work with new lighting and electronics throughout.
