I think Ryan and the Minute Women Home Care team are reputable, trustworthy and provide great communication with their clients. I would recommend you give them a call if you are in need of senior care services

Ryan McEniff is a true rarity in the home health care industry: an empathetic, effective expert. Clients and families can trust that Ryan not only understands and anticipates their needs but that he will provide appropriate staff who deliver quality care. In what is fast becoming a crowded field of agencies, Minute Women stands out for being responsive, responsible, and committed to excellence.

The Home Health Aids that Minute Women provided for 24/7 care of my Mother were phenomenal. They helped her keep her spirits up, attended to daily needs, provided companionship, and were attentive in every way while respecting her dignity and independence. They helped the entire family as she deteriorated through the hospice experience. Many of them became dear to us. We highly recommend this company.

Minute Women provided us with in-home live-in care for a number of weeks after my mother took a bad fall. They were responsive and timely in providing caregivers for my mom and were very understanding and sympathetic talking to.me about my mom's needs. I would use them again.

If you wish to discontinue services all you need to do is call us and let us know. We understand that this is healthcare and situations can rapidly change. We do prefer a few days notice, but understand if that is not possible.
So we get this a lot, especially once people meet the owner, Ryan. Ryan's Aunt started Minute Women and she lived and worked in Concord and Lexington, home of the Minute Man soldiers. Since everyone at the time named their company "Minute Man" plumbing, heating, or gas, she decided that as a woman-owned company, she would name it Minute Women. The irony is not lost on us that 40 years later, her nephew, who is 6'5" tall purchased the company from her :)
Please call us for our rates, we would be happy to explain them to you. The reason being is we have different services that are charged at different rates. There is no pressure or hard sales pitch when you communicate with us. We are happy to answer any and all questions.
Our office hours are M-F 8 am - 5 pm, excluding the following holidays: New Years, Patriot's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (including the Friday after) and Christmas. We are available 24/7 for ongoing clients with emergencies or new clients that need services. Just call our main number and hit 9 when prompted. This will forward you to our on-call cell phone.
Private home care as an industry does not take insurances like personal health, Medicare or Medicaid. The only insurance that is accepted in the industry is (LTC) long-term care insurance. In which case, we can help work with you to directly bill the LTC company. This makes life easier for you because you do not need to pay us, then wait to get reimbursed by your insurance company.
The onboarding process is easy and straightforward. We will send out an electronic service agreement to sign. It is non-binding and you may cancel at any time. We then come out to your home to provide a free home safety inspection as well as meet with you to go over the situation and your options. Once the e-service agreement has been signed, we will have our nurse complete a care plan that will be in the home as a reference guide for caregivers to review. This document is regularly updated. Our care coordination team will find caregivers that we feel will be successful in your situation. You are free to interview as many caregivers as you like, with no obligation or cost to you. Once you have found the right caregivers for your loved one and want to proceed with using our services is when we take a form of payment. That's it!
Services can start as quickly or as slowly as you like. For example, we were called the Friday before Christmas, Dec 22nd, 2017 at 3 pm and services were needed ASAP. We had a caregiver in the home by 7 pm. In an emergency situation like that our normal onboarding process is changed a bit. It doesn't happen often but when someone needs services within hours, we can accommodate that request.
