They have replaced their complimentary breakfast (which was great) with an expensive pay per item menu. Even the Continental breakfast costs $10. Edited some of the other things in this review because someone called our room and addressed our concerns.

During Covid they got used to not having to do maid service everyday. Now they will NOT give you maid service for multiple night stays. Furniture is worn out, dirty. Watch your bill closely. They overcharged me but corrected it when I brought it to their attention.

Booked a double room for one night and after a long day on the lake with our two kids we show up and we were informed they had only a single bed available us with no roll aways available. We asked how is that possible when we booked a double and she informs us that she had just gotten there and that is what the guy that left told her. We asked for a refund and drove 2 hours home. We will never book there again.

We are staying here due to our home being restored. We were not able to get a king sized bed room but we’re happy with the size on the two queens room. Bathtub was a little dirty and air vents definitely were dusty. They explained to us at check in that we would need to call before 10am for any housekeeping which we were definitely fine with. The first night, we received prompt service to receive extra towels and trash bags, but the second night I ran into a bit of a snafu. It really wasn’t that big of a deal but the girl at the front desk made it seem like she was the only one there and that I needed to come down to get some more coffee for the next day. Fine. Third day, I requested housekeeping at 8:30 in the morning. Left the room for 6 hours (3 hours 2 different times) and finally came home around 5ish with my toddler who was asleep. When I got into the room, our room was not serviced. I called down to see if someone could do it quick and unfortunately I was met with attitude. The girl said no, you can get your own sheets and trash bags from the front as housekeeping is already gone. I told her that I couldn’t because my toddler was already asleep and my husband wouldn’t be back until later. I said so there’s no one who can bring it to me? And she goes no I’m the only one here. Requested the manager who was already gone for the day. The next day I had to call a few times to finally get the manager. He was helpful and told me it wouldn’t happen again and that as well she was not the only worker that previous night and someone could have helped me. BUT as soon as I was satisfied with the response/resolution I received, I didn’t appreciate the next part of our conversation where he was asking me if I used profanity with his worker. I certainly did not use profanity and told him he could review the call if he didn’t believe me. At the same time…I’m a guest. I felt like I was being accused and felt like that was unnecessary. I used to work customer service as a manager myself and know how to treat people. Yes I was upset, but would never call someone names or cuss at them over not having a room serviced. Honestly, I don’t know how long we will be here, but I wouldn’t probably stay here by choice again.

Around $12.99, Breakfast was mediocre to me , omelet was over cooked and only pork options for meat. Oatmeal was bland, French toast was okay but syrup had a metal taste to it. Fruit and OJ were decent. Dinner is the best choice at this location *Steak or Cobb Salad.*

I'm sure there is Uber and a taxi service. Your best bet would be to call the hotel and ask. Staff is quite helpful
