In the middle of Boston and Providence. The commuter rail is convenient.

An embarrassment for the town. There are only a handful of parking spots for non-residents and 2 huge lots that usually go largely unfilled for residents only. There is no bathroom, no snack machines, no schedules and no MBTA employees here. You had better make DAMN sure the space you're parked in is the correct one that you put into the app, otherwise Gump the bike cop will happily issue you a ticket....all about the money and all. Was parked in space 3, couldnt see the number clearly because theyre FADED AWAY on the pavement and I was in a hurry and I put 8 into the app...I do realize that's my mistake but still. I bet I would have made the same mistake if it had snowed, and I'd have to shovel over it to see the number, no way my old eyes would have been able to see the number right. Never had to deal with any of these nonsensical things at any of the other train stations, thankfully.

Protip: If you are strapped for time, pay attention to the direction the trains are traveling. You will have to travel out of one side of the station parking lot if you are on the wrong side. When pressed for time this can be a stressor. Otherwise, it's an ok station to go to. No staff is present, but you can buy tickets on the train. Information is posted on the boards, but is not marked as easily. Pay close attention to arrivals and departures online ahead of time for a better idea.

Quiet, safe, easy access and good train schedule on weekdays. Just 27 minutes to South Station. Easy parking for the fortunate commuters who get quarterly passes - all 700 or so spaces are taken in about 4 minutes during quarterly online lottery.

No
City bus service has been on going, there is not a bus from here to the city
On the soutbound side, yes. That lot is usually full by 7:15-7:30.
They do offer 10 pass packages too. There is only a volume discount on the monthly pass (e.g. 10 pass = $85 and is good for 10 one way/5 round trip rides). Parking is $4 per day - service fee of about $0.35 for paying by phone. No service fee for paying by the machines on site (credit card). No overnight parking.
If you are taking the Brockton Commuter Rail station, take it all the way to South Station, then change to the Providence Line of the commuter rail. Otherwise, if you can get a ride to the Sharon station, its a direct ride down to Providence from there.
