Where is the option for 0? If you thought the cable company was bad, wait until you deal with UI! Quite literally the worst customer service experience of my life... - Site hasn't worked in a month, so if you want to pay your bill good luck - Their phone system is awful. When you get the call back it eventually drops you - Email response time is 3-5 days I cant remember the last time I wrote a review, but felt compelled to do so. If you can somehow survive without electricity or use solar/wind do it!

What kind of scam company forces you to pay a "convenience" fee when making unassisted payments? I go to the website to pay and they want to charge nearly $4. Then, you call to make a payment via phone IVR system and they want to charge you nearly $4. Additionally, when you call the system states that you can avoid the payment fee by making a payment online, which is 100 percent false. Is this an issue with the state or the company or both? Either way it's a ridiculous money grab. Unfortunately, there aren't any other service options. Welcome to CT. Also, when you call to disconnect service. The automated system tells you that it's going to connect you to a person but it hangs up on you

I am exceptionally happy with the UI Company. Have been living on Elm ST in West Haven for ten years and our lights have never gone out. Kudos to all the workers who bust their tails to make this all happen. My only gripe is that we have to pay what, four bucks more to make telephone payments!

Literally every time I need to log in I have to reset my password.. it's the only way I can access my account 😂. My correct credentials don't work to access my account. Never seen anything like it.

Online is always the best choice as to avoid fees, all you need is a to have a bank account. However the other choices is over the phone ($3.50 fee last I checked) or at a bill paying place such as Walmart (not sure what they charge).
