Shameful and not well informed-Inspection, Zoning, and Planning fall very short and miss the mark-Inspection after approving my Deck try to Inspect inside for smoke alarms-I live alone. Even with Police, Zoning allows Violators of NH RSA $262:40-c, an Abandoned car awaits some action-Out of State, on Street and idle 7 + Days. Favor their own members and allow storage in street. Instead of pitting neighbours against each other with a form-just DO IT. Better response from Community Services. The ignorance of the Police led to six Court cases, cost me $10,000.00 and creates distrust in the community-unable to discern a House from an Apartment bldg., giving legal advice to citizens, believing private lots are open to the public parking. NHDMV and MA DMV direct me to Parking Enforcement. And my Free Smoke Alarms are installed by Red Cross and maintained. TYVM. Refusing/Failing to consider how the city manages Residents Automobiles impact on Community-if they fit into their spaces or not is akin to selling overcapacity at a concert-someone gets locked out. Is not a matter for Police. But in typical fashion a faxed message to Police yields nothing. And so Natasha, Assistant Planner-will the city address residents who need and use more spaces to park cars than capacity allows on my street where 3 cars per address is the max.? And to the Chief of PD? And allow uninspected cars to be operated? And left on city streets? Shame.

Terrible experience trying to register my commercial vehicle, I have Mass. license for my home in Taxachusetts! I wanted to register commercial vehicle that I use only at my business in Dover , All the aggravation to register the truck was a nightmare plus only 1 person working that day , 20 people in line ahead of me!

I've lived here for years and despite ample research online prior to visiting and bringing every conceavable piece of paperwork with me I have 0% success rate on accomplishing anything I need the first time. Even the website will say at times that despite having the right paperwork the town employee may just reject your request. If you plan on going to city hall plan 2 to 3 trips per action.

The assessment cards are online,as far as I know.
No they don't. Dover raises taxes every year. Tax cap?? What's that...??
