We were working in the area for a week and visited the Mad River Tavern on 4 seperate occassions. Great sandwiches, great selection of coffees, nice outdoor porch for dinning, and a friendly staff. I began this review with 4 stars but decided the Mad River Tavern deserves 5-stars....Hope to get back there again

Loved it! Cortney did a fantastic job bar tending and waitressing! The food was great and came quickly! Loved the atmosphere there as well!

I've updated my 4 star to a 2 star. After 2 years of visiting this place as its so close to home, they continue to disappoint. ON Friday night we arrived at 8:10..the bar tender literally tossed the menu at us and said hurry up, kitchen closes in 12 minutes....food was once again below average...service was worst ever. This restaurant has great potential...awesome location, nice bar setting. Just really badly managed and obviously no good cooks for the last 2 years. Not going back.
