Very nice place to have an animal healed and released back in to the wild. I had found a red tailed hawk in the acid canal and it was hurt so I called the Shasta wild life there in side the Anderson park area, anyways they cared for it and then after some time they released it back onto the wild (soda speak) so yes I recommend them for sure...5 stars for sure. Thank you Shasta wildlife rescue. J.Beback.

I brought in a tiny baby bird that had fallen out of its nest and they took him in, fed him formula, put him in an incubator and when he's big enough, he'll go into a wildlife bird cage with other rescued birds. They take all wildlife, just no domestic animals. The staff was kind and helpful. Be sure to make a donation!

Their website says to not feed. If you are waiting for a response, message them on Facebook. That's how I contacted last week to drop off a baby bird.
Hi, I can't seem to find a working phone number for this wildlife rescue? I have a baby bird I'm keeping alive but need a wildlife rescue to take the baby.

Since it obviously can't be saved, find a field so it can feed wildlife
Bring it to the chest of wildlife rescue at Anderson river park

I hope they got back with you. Keep baby out of draft. You can feed it a corn meal mush with eye dropper or a straw. Just dont force food to fast.
Do you guys know who can relocate a mountain lion that has 2 cubs? They are in a neighborhood in cottonwood. Fish and game said they don't relocate and aren't wiling to help. Killing doesn't seem like a good option since it has cubs.

Try calling Turtle Bay they may have resource information?

Someone should be able to meet with you, leave a name and number on the answering machine, volunteers check it about every 2 hours and locates the right preson for you.
I have a wild hen turkey that is just asking back and forth along a fence next to a road. I imagine it has been injured somehow. What should I do?

Shasta Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation is now closed for the season. They care for Native Wildlife only. Cats are not classified as wildlife. You will have to take it to Animal Regulation if you are in the county or to Haven Humane if you are in the city.
