Million Dollar Brows

Microblading (AKA eyebrow embroidery) and semi-permanent makeup (AKA micropigmentation) are cosmetic procedures that achieve similar results with different techniques and tools to apply their pigments.

A trained and experienced technician applies permanent makeup by using a vibrating needle to place pigment in the epidermis, or the top layer of your skin. Each tiny hole made by the needle receives a drop of your chosen pigment.

For a start, you should resist the temptation to start tanning immediately. Stay out of direct sunlight for two full days (48 hours) or until all signs of redness have faded. Be ready to apply exfoliating products after your skin returns to normal.

Temporary eyebrow tinting: This is the ordinary form of tinting eyebrow hairs. This can be done with many different cosmetics, including eye shadow, mascara, eyeliner, or eye makeup. Temporary eyebrow tint needs to be reapplied every day. Semi-permanent eyebrow tinting: This is an effective time-saver if you are tired of altering your eyebrow color by hand every day. It lasts longer and requires minimal upkeep.

A lash lift is, generally speaking, something like a perm for your eyelashes. Note that a lash lift does not use any harsh chemicals like formaldehyde or parabens, though! Having your lashes lifted will introduce a curl from the base of the lash to the tip, increasing their apparent length. For the greatest results, a lash lift is often paired with eyelash tinting.

Eyelash tint is the use of specially-formulated hair dye on the eyelashes. The visual appearance of eyelash tinting is similar to mascara. It produces the appearance of greater length, thickness, and darkness. Unlike mascara, eyelash tint will never clot, smudge, or rub off.

Powder ombré brows is another name for microshading, one that refers specifically to the gradual shift in color density it produces. Your color is lighter at the front (or bulb) of the brow and darkens out to the tail. The powder ombré look creates the great natural-looking effect of soft powder makeup without the day-to-day hassle of using guides to fill the brows in repeatedly.

Lip blush is long-lasting but not permanent; after several years, the pigment will fade away. Note that lifestyle factors and genetics have a lot to do with how long lip blush lasts. If your skin tends to be oily, you smoke, get lots of sun exposure, use exfoliating products frequently, or have an iron deficiency, you may see the pigment fading more quickly from your lips.
