I haven't been there in a couple years.. The food and service was great. It was a little pricey compared to visits in the past. I get it. Everything has gone up. The order was messed up but corrected by the server. They ran out of the top shelf liquor on one of their signature drinks then made it with a lesser brand but didn't adjust the price. 3 people 300 bucks for what we got was a little much.

Nice comfortable restaurant with good decor. The fried foods are excellent. The last 3 or 4 times I had lobster it had a very strange flavor. Something about the water it's cooked in? It does tend to be a bit dirty, especially the floors and the ladies room

I have literally no idea where all these good reviews are coming from, because our experience was the exact opposite. I can't blame any employees because we ordered takeout. Mind you, this is semi expensive food, and there was hardly any food in it. We ordered 2 plates, 2 cobblers, and fish chowder. The chowder was watery with actual fat and oil floating on top, the fries were soggy somehow even when opening them in the car 2 minutes after recieving them, and while the clams were okay, there were only 6 scallops. The cobbler was FROZEN and somehow burnt, and I will never come back. This was supposed to be take out date night. I have learned my lesson. I don't blame the employees but the food is not worth the price, not even close.

This place is usually good if you don't in the room where the bar is, my husband and I went today and was very disappointed, we waited for a long time to be waited on because the gentleman with the blonde hair was ordering the servant to help him in the big room , potato skins were cold. The salad tasted like it was on the floor it had some strange taste to it. The strawberry short cake was lousy the cake itself was warm the strawberries was sour,we waited for 20 minutes to pay. $30,00. For a bad food. Will never go to where the bar is again,we probably should have known better when the bar is full they serve the people that drinks beer and mixed drinks first where we don't drink that stuff we get served last and slow, I think it's because the people that drink booze gets better tips.
