Two stars is based on customer service skills alone. No other quantifier is reviewed here. Are we at the point in society now where the car dealership doesn’t want to make a sale unless it can happen within the first two minutes of a phone call? Unfortunate conversation with car salesperson Lars who seemed to have potential until he sensed I was not interested in his Toyota Corolla and instead had called a Ford seller wanting a Ford…Ford dealership. Much like the world of dating today: If the man is refused his overt home run overtures on a first date, then the car salesperson equally doesn’t deal with you unless you hand over your $40,000 in the first two minutes of the phone call. Note to car salesman: not a good idea to put a potential customer on hold after the customer shows interest. Salesman: “Can I call you back?” This is not the way to a sale for a dedicated Ford purchaser. Even worse to not fulfill your word to return the call to the customer. But maybe the customers are lined up at the door these days? A dose of thoughtfulness and modesty would go a long way for an interested car customer. Wished Flood had better customer service.
