Nicely cept BBQ place. Service is excellent. Great response to issues. The brisket was ok. It didnt have much of a bark or smoke ring. The chicken was moist and had good smoke flavor. The potato salad was ok. The banana pudding was good. They where out of ribs and mac wich happens at BBQ places that are open till sold out. The bbq sause was ok as well.

Gem located between Dallas and Houston. Drawn in by the aroma and charmed by Heather. Her recommendation of chopped brisket was perfect. Decor was beautiful. Memorable Mural of the Sanderson sisters. We were traveling with a dog and asked for scraps and they hooked us up.

Absolutely amazing place right off the 45 Interstate. Melt in the mouth brisket, I had the lunch special. Sandwich, fries and a drink for only $10. Servers are so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended

This is a review of their new location in Ennis, but it doesn’t show on the map yet. Overall decent place. The food is 3 stars. The location is new, nice, and clean. The help is good as well which moved it to 4 stars overall. The BBQ is pretty good. It appears they pre slice it though, which is a misstep to me. It should be sliced to order. Cheese fries were great. But the Mac and cheese and onion rings just average. Portions were average as well. They only offer canned drinks, so refills are $2!!! Crazy. In the end, I would eat here if in town, but not travel to get the food (I live 30 minutes away).
