I have been here for a year. The office staff and maintenance have been prompt and helpful anytime I have needed them so far. I love it here! I just wish they would do away with rent increases....

I wanted to leave me past experience here for all to know. We put a deposit on an apartment. My wife applied and then had issues with the email not being sent to my email for me to apply. However we still put the 7/24 deposit to hold the unit. My wife called after applying to explain she needs another invite sent to my correct email. They answered said it would be fixed and sent. We waited a few days recieved nothing. Called the next day 7/28 the told us that another tenant had some issues in their apartment and moved them to ours because they had a lease. We said well do you have anything else available. They said no. This is when I requested my deposit back he said he need to talk to a supervisor and the confirm to process and there should be no issue since the mistake wasnt on our end. I said please start this process. I called 3 more times during this week and left 1 voicemail. The final call i sent was on 8/1 where the lady said they tired to reach out multiple times with new apartments and this is why they didn't start the refund process, which is inaccurate because neither of us received one call from them and we were in constant communication with them anyway because we kept calling. Then she said another issue was I havn't completed my application, which i didnt recieve the email and this doesn't matter because we already asked for the refund because of the what happened earlier. Finally the lady started the refund and I recieved my $500 but not the $54.28 due to no error on my end. In my opinion this is a quite nasty way to make an extra $54.28 on your own mistake. As we never saw the place we have no opinon about the community or the place itself, however the staff is difficult to work with when there's issues.

The Colonial Village community enjoys professionally landscaped grounds and easy access to restaurants, shopping, highway, and more. When we have any maintenance request, we are pleased that competent and friendly people contact us quickly and take care of any maintenance concerns, as soon as possible. The system works well, and we have been pleased that the leasing and maintenance staff continue to have good follow-up with any resident who contacts them.

The maintenance teams are prompt and polite, usually respond within 24 hours of you putting in the request. The apartments are nice, everyone of course will at one point or another have an issue with any place they live in whether it’s an apartment or home. The front office has dealt with a lot from me, but they’ve done it with a smile and have handled it well and done everything in their power they can to help us.

During the winter months each building has designated times when all vehicles must be removed from the residential parking lots. For any accumulating snow, your vehicle must be removed. The center of the parking lot will always be kept passable during a snowstorm. Our Maintenance team will take care of the shoveling and salting of all walkways and heavily trafficked areas.

In regards to a security deposit it would either be $500 or one month's rent, it is contingent upon your credit so we won’t know for sure what you will owe until your credit is run.
By the start of your lease you are required to carry renters insurance and provide proof of insurance to the management office. Palmer feels that this policy not only protects our property but is also a great way to protect your belongings in case of a disaster at a low cost to you. The minimum policy that you are required to carry is $10,000 personal and $100,000 liability.
Colonial Village has an application fee of $35.00 per person (Anyone over 18 must apply). Application fees are non-refundable and are put toward the fees we incur to run your credit.
Two bedroom apartments at Colonial Village range from $ 1,445-$1,485 per month. *All prices are subject to change.

We are a pet friendly community; however, we do have some breed restrictions. We do not have weight restrictions. Cats are an additional $35 per month per cat and dogs would be an additional $55 per month per dog.
Guarantors will be considered if an applicant does not pass the credit check or possess positive landlord references. In the event a guarantor is required, he/she must complete an application for residency, meet all application qualification guidelines and sign the NAA Lease Guaranty Addendum. A co-signer must be a U.S resident. Combined income, housing history and credit will be used for qualifying. The co-signer’s rent or mortgage payment must be included in calculating qualification.

A completed application with application fee is required. We perform a credit and criminal background check, employment/income verification (your rent cannot exceed 30% of your total household income) and landlord references must be done.
