Love Kerbey Lane...except for this location. I ordered cheese enchiladas. When it arrived, the rojas sauce on top had a dry look. It was lukewarm, enough so that a fork cut through the congealed cheese easily. The rice wasn't hard, but it definitely wasn't fresh. This also was barely warm. Stick to the two locations near campus or Round Rock. This one's a miss.

It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here. The experience wasn’t great. While we had a fairly short wait for a Sunday morning, we received four meals that were luke warm. Service was also less average. Unfortunately disappointed having chosen here to bring out of town company to for brunch.

Food was great as usual. We had a big party and made a reservation but it was a busy Sunday. We were highly encouraged to use the app to order food which turned out alright. Kind of nice that it splits checks easily and you pay on your own. Hopefully we won’t get a ton of emails from this “sign up” process. Problem is that everyone orders at different times so food comes out at all different times, which I guess could be good or bad if you have someone starving and another taking forever to pick what they want. One person didn’t get her food for a very long time and then when she got it, it was cold. They did comp her food though so that was nice. Good food, just seems like they are short staffed as most are at the moment. It took us like 2 hours to get seated and eat. Restaurant was very loud as well on a Sunday at lunch.

I enjoyed the Southern Classic which is two biscuits, with bacon gravy, two sausage patties and two eggs cooked to your liking. I did over hard eggs. The biscuits are thick and springy. The gravy was light for the amount of biscuit you get and was slightly salty but tasty. The sausage patties and eggs were great. My date had blueberry pancakes which they said tasted more like a cake then anything else. Our waiter gave good courteous service. We had an awkward wait when we first entered the cafe as there was no host and no signage saying whether we wait to be seated or seat ourselves.
