We had a 2Q Suite and stayed 1 night. The "clean' carpet in our room remained sticky and damp our entire stay. Even with socks on, it felt gross. The thermostat was set to 72 but never got cool and felt humid the entire night. This hotel said it offered hot breakfast, but during my stay the manager told us the oven was broken and all they had was microwave eggs, 2 ways, and a waffle press. They had milk but no cereal. I overheard families saying they had to go buy their own cereals at HEB. The coffee machine was also broken so they offered 1 pumpmaster of burnt coffee on the counter. I opted for a cup of room coffee to get by. There was a courtesy ice water dispenser in the lobby for the guests, but it was empty during most of my stay. Even when I asked the 2 available front desk clerks if that was all the cold water, they told me there was also a water fountain down the hall. When I checked out, the front desk clerk pointed out that he filled the water finally, as if it was humorous. These are amenities that we as customers pay for. It is included in our rate as incentive to stay with this hotel. This was a very disappointing experience and I will not return to this hotel chain. On that note, BEWARE of booking with choicehotels. com. They offer a low price guarantee to pay at once non-refundable. But I found my rate cheaper on their same site days later and they did not price match. I went through the process of filling out a form, waiting for email response, just to be denied. If you do have to stay at this Comfort Suites, book with the front desk over the phone. Do not book online.

Terrible. When we first checked in, the room they gave us was dirty. Towels and trash every where. It hadn't been cleaned yet. The second room wasn't cleaned all that great either. My 11 month old found a thumb tack and had it in her hand and almost put it in her mouth. I also found a few pills on the floor next to the bed. The restroom mirror was filthy. They didn't clean it. And the toilet wouldn't flush unless you held it all the way down. I had the do not disturb sign on the door and the lock on the inside and the cleaning lady still tried to come in and when the door wouldn't open she kept pushing it to get in. Woke my sleeping baby from her nap. For the price of the rooms, they need to hire better cleaning crew or inspect before letting guests in. Would not stay here again or recommend.

Positive: Very close to where our family lives. Negative: A/C took 24 hours to cool room-full blast at 64. Guests next door blasted music so loud we could hear every word from 8 to 10 pm and then again at 3:45. Did not call the but were on ground floor so someone should have noticed but lobby rarely staffed.

Lights were off in the lobby . Ac broken and dripping on to floor. Room had blood stains on the floor . When I mentioned the issues to the staff they tried to publicly humiliate me by mentioning my dad paid for the room loudly to all the guests in the lobby. I was also called "four eyes" "hunchback" and had comments made on my hairline by the staff. Never experienced this level of in professional behavior at any hotel. Much happier at sleep in and suites down the road.
