This was truly the worst vegan restaurant me and my friends have ever been to. I ordered seaweed salad and got seaweed on top of a bunch of lettuce (seaweed + salad?) :D with some strange white creamy substance that did NOT look appealing. My food was bland, everyone at our table wished they'd ordered my partner's food because his was the least gross-tasting. I hate leaving reviews like this because I don't like putting restaurants down but this place was shockingly bad considering how much I've heard everyone loves it.

Super sweet staff. Relaxing environment. I’m still blown away that this place even exists. A VEGAN Chinese restaurant? Right here in Boston? Wow! I really enjoyed the No Name -especially as leftovers, however I was disappointed that the Wontons didn’t have a creamy interior, it was just “meat”. I was expecting to bite into a warm, gooey filling but it was just dry “meat” stuffing which wasn’t very seasoned. The chick’n fingers would’ve been absolutely perfect except they were too sweet and lacked in the flavor department. I would recommend going! It’s not often you come across an all vegan Chinese restaurant and their menu is extensive. They even have lunch specials (only valid on weekdays)!

Great vegan food options. The food was really tasty. I tried the hot and sour soup, dumplings, sushi and house fried rice. Amazing flavours and good quality ingredients

Amazing food at a reasonable price! First they gave us complimentary hot green tea. Then we ordered fried rice cake as appetizer which was so good especially the fried part. We also ordered the hot n sour soup which was delish! Then we got a house fried rice and a spicy stir fried buckwheat noodles with garlic sauce which was tasty. Huge quantity of food; we got left over home and had them for next day! Their vegi-meat doesn't really taste like meat but I'd still eat 'em on days when I am a vegeterian!

I'm like 98% certain you can. Give them a ring before you get in trouble, or end up thirsty!
I'm not sure where this rumor originated, but speaking from personal experience the restuarant has always been sanitary, from what I've been able to see. The staff are incredibly nice and committed to quality, so I can only assume their back of house standards match what can be seen on the front of house end. Hope this is helpful!

Yes, the entire restaurant is vegan. The shrimp, pork, beef, chicken, etc. on the menu is all fake (it's either soy, wheat gluten, etc.)
