Legal is usually very consistent, today was not up to their standards. My wife had Lobster Bisque which we've had many times, the taste was way off. Left the bowl 3/4 full and the server never asked if anything was wrong. I had oysters, not very fresh. Hope this was just an anomaly

I LOVE the food in this place! Everything I've tried is just soooo good! I wanted to bring my mom who never eats out cause she's allergic to black pepper (sucks, I know...) And they were so nice and kind, the waiter explained everything and came back several times to check on her in regards to some ingredients. I love this place even more now for making my mom feel great! Thank you!

Everyone knows legal sea foods.!! But if you like tuna, have the sesame crusted yellow fin tuna, (please no well done, medium rare is perfect) it’s one of the best plates and healthy! Service was awesome!

I got to say I've heard a lot about this place, but to be honest with you some of the best clam chowder I've ever had you literally get clams in every last bite which a lot of times is not possible. I also went out on a limb and got one of their new dishes lobster mac and cheese it came and it was not what I expected it to be I expected macaroni and cheese with some lobster meat in it, to my surprise it came with a lobster and some mac on the side it had toasted bread crumb butter on it as well it was also very excellent delicious large portion and a reasonable price for seafood. The waitress her name was Kim was very helpful and I was kicking myself back and forth between three different items and I asked for her recommendation she did not do me. Last but not least we went for the Boston cream pie also delicious I recommend this place I give it a five-star rating. If you're in the Peabody area of Boston Mass you should definitely check this out and it is attached to a big mall so you can go shopping when you're done.
