I loved this camp. The memories that I made with my cabin mates are unforgettable, and all it took was two weeks. The activities were fun and took your time up so you don’t even miss your phone (Tubing, Nature Walks, Yoga, Indoor Activities, Challenge Courses, etc.) ! There are just a few tips I would like to recommend if you’re going here. 1. Don’t bring anything you’ll really miss (or anything that’s extremely expensive) . In many situations, some things can get lost easily. It’s important to bring the essentials, but for example, makeup isn’t necessary everyday (when it’s 99* feeling like 103* outside anyways). 2. Bring a bike/scooter. Yes, it is on the “optional” list. But for getting around quickly, they’re almost essential. It’s hot out. Even with the main camp only really being 60 acres, with the blisteringly burning temps, it can be a life-saver for comfortability. Speaking of hot temps… 3. DON’T TAKE DRINKING WATER LIGHTLY! It’s a Florida Summer. You’re doing activities. You’re going to sweat. You NEED that water! Even if you don’t sweat, you’ll feel fatigued very soon if you don’t keep that bottle full! (Thankfully, they always keep a water dispenser around!) These are more recommendations (EXCEPT NUMBER 3) then fact, but it’s what I learned over the 2 weeks as a pioneer girl. I miss the camp dearly, and as I write this I only left 4 days ago! The counselors, amazing. The experiences, fantastic. The memories, last a lifetime. Ending note: If you’re nervous to come here (or if you’re nervous to send your kid here), don’t be! I was nervous too. You (or your kid) will have so much fun here! Everyone is kind. There’s always someone to talk to, something to do. I loved this camp. <3

EDIT: Now I come to find out that the "receptionist" who gave me the run around and told me that she had no authority to make any decisions and who was the only person I could actually get on the phone, was actually the CO-OWNER! She flat out lied to me. They now have the audacity to demand the remaining balance due. I have since reached out to my financial institutions to seek further action. This is a huge red flag! Please beware!! Parents beware! If any life situation happens and you are on the brink of losing your business and/or livelihood, they will, under no circumstance refund your money. They have a no refund policy and WILL NOT make any exceptions regardless of your situation. While I understand certain rules need to be put into play to protect themselves, to open your heart to this place and be shot down is such BAD BUSINESS. What happened to compassion? A "store credit" is simply not enough when you can barely pay your bills. When we signed up our child we had the means, but with this terrible economy, unforeseen circumstances arose which led us to not be able to pay the rest of the bill. We could never get the director or anyone in charge of making decisions on the phone. We finally got a response email 1 1/2 months later from "Brian" basically saying "tough luck" When we pleaded with him to make an exception, there was never a response. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, and NO COMPASSION.

Beware! We made a request whether there are slots available via their online form and THE NEXT DAY informed the owner via email we will not be able to attend. They sent an email saying the online registration (where absolutely no agreement was signed) is financially binding!

My son and I love Camp Frontier, he will be attending the camp for a 3rd time this Summer. The camp provides an abundance of activities to choose from such as water skiing. A lot of these activities like horse back riding are activities I haven’t had the opportunity to share with my son, therefore I’m grateful he’s experiencing the activities at Camp Frontier. Additionally, the camp does an excellent job with being attentive to the kids needs and keeping them safe. I would recommend Camp Frontier to anyone without reservations. Satisfied and Grateful Mom
