I would like to start off by saying I’m new to New Hampshire and fairly new to firearms. It was important to me to find a place which was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. After trying out a few different ranges I ended up at Granite State Indoor Range. From the moment I walked through the door I felt welcomed, safe and comfortable! The staff was kind and answered any questions I may have had, especially Chad and Matt! Whether it be the store or the range itself I’ve had nothing but exceptional experiences! I have even brought my 3 year old son with me into the store for some shopping and also my girlfriend to purchase her first firearm! For those new to firearms it can be intimidating and the staff does a great job with educating and putting your mind at ease! Thank You Granite State Range!

I had no experience with firearms before I went to GSIR. I was a bit nervous before I walked in, but I ended up having an awesome experience. Derek provided AWESOME classroom and range instruction. Him and the whole staff were very friendly and kind! 10/10

Excellent shop and range, staff are some of the friendliest gun store employees I've ever done business with. I've lived and shopped all over the country from CA and NJ to MS and PA and these guys really stand out as good people to deal with. Matt is a great salesman if you're looking to get NFA items. Selection and prices are also top notch. Range and RSO's were solid and not overbearing which you'll especially appreciate if you're an experienced shooter. Oh, and someone always answers the phone. 11/10 place.

Excellent gun range and amazing staff keep us coming back. Every one of the staff here are top notch professionals. Always willing to answer questions and provide assistance with whatever you need. One evening I was sighting in a new red dot and realized I forgot the torx wrench to properly snug it down. The guys lent me some tools ensuring I was able to get done everything I needed! Talk about service. Their prices on firearms and accessories are very fair as well. Only thing I wish was that the lanes were a little more brightly lit. Good luck finding a better indoor range in NH! 5/5

Yes. It's usually $20 per caliber (you can swap for a different gun of the same caliber if you want) per day.
Yup
$20 per lane, pistol rentals are $15, rifle $25, ammo cost $10-35 per box, target hanger $5, eye pro $2, ear pro $1
Take a safety class/beginners class 101. It is the best way to learn all the fundamentals for gun shooting. I took the class yesterday and now I don’t feel intimidate anymore. I know now that I will be a safe shooter and that I will know my gun inside and out. Safety is the most important thing!! Always keep your gun pointed in a safe direction (loaded or not) and always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot your target. They cram that into your head all 9 hours of the class. Great class!
I don't think they are.
They're pretty good on price. I was there a little over two hours and rented 4 guns about 200 rounds of ammunition for about $118.
Lane fees for non-members are $20/person/day on weekdays and $30/person/day on weekends. The basic membership is $0 down and $20/month with a 12-month commitment which gives you unlimited range access and the ability to make reservations.
They do not.
You need to provide legal identification, such as a license, before buying a gun. You also need to pass a background check with the ATF.
I'm pretty sure there are no lead or copper products that are problem. If your projectile isn't magnetic you're good to go. It's the stuff with steel core or incendiary that causes a problem.
In NH there is no such thing. We only have a conceal carry permit and even that's voluntary at the moment. You can't shoot alone, like the other person said, unless you bring our own gun. But you can shoot whatever of you're not alone. It's a suicide prevention policy. You will need to sign a waiver, which can be found on their website.
According to their Facebook page the range will be closed today (Easter).
I would imagine the main value of coming up is the variety of firearms in nh vs ma. They've got tons of 9s and a small selection of AR type stuff and some have suppressors, which you might think is neat
They hold a magnet to the projectile, if it sticks it's no good.
Yes
Yes, though you will need two people in your group to rent a gun.
Ltcs are issued by your local police. They are not issued by gun ranges.
Certainly. Most states require training before you can get a licence, and we offer those classes for Massachusetts and a number of other states. We also offer basic hands-on training for people unfamiliar with firearms and their safe and effective use.
It's just a base rate for using a lane. $20 during the week and $25 on the weekend. https://www.granitestaterange.com/range/range-rates
20 for the lane
Yep. Just need a valid ID
Yes you can!!
Because they are a significantly higher suicide risk. If you bring your own firearm they let you shoot alone though.
