Beautiful hiking area with spectacular views. I wanted to hike to the top of the hill where I would guess is where paragliders take off from but didn’t have time. Not a lot of shade right at the park but lots of shade going up the hill to Lookout Mountain and Buffalo Bill’s grave site. Around a 30 minute hike to get up there.

Kettering

Great views and easy hiking close to Golden. I hiked to Mount Zion which is about 1.4 miles out and back with a 400 foot elevation gain. Parking is tough. Be prepared to be patient or park down a ways.

Beautiful views. Windy. Clean bathrooms at the parking lot. Be careful when there's snow on Beaver creek trail: it's slippery and the trail is very close to the edge of the slope, it can be dangerous

Experiance ForEver

Small park beautiful walk near the highway. I took the left side of it to make the small in loop 1.4 miles. It was muddy from the melting snow,(January). Moderate uphill with breathtaking view. About 40 min to the top. Beautiful. And 20 min down hill on the other side.. It wasn't crowded not noisy. It was peaceful and nice. It's muddy Only near the parking lot approximates. I enjoy it. Small walk. Yes very windy 🌬️ as expected.
