Went there for the first time, bought a groupon thinking it was for bachata (same price as salsa) and Maria was not friendly. I will not be back! pretty

I always wanted to learn Salsa and the Groupon was a perfect way to start. I don't live in Tampa and there wasn't anything locally for me. I drove 1 hr to class and never looked back. I went through all levels of Salsa and made the best of friends along the way. My class size was nice. There was lots of instruction and plenty of socials to practice what we learned. Maria gives so much to her students. She offers Bachata classes too. If you are looking for a place to start, this is it.

The Owner gives excellent instructions on Salsa. She is an awesome teacher and very patient. Cons : Classes never start on time or end on time. Sometimes classes do not start until one hour later than the stated start time. The adjunct instructors include two teenagers that are very distracting to class and are more hurtful than helpful to those that are learning how to Salsa. The place of instruction in Riverview is very small and leads very little room to dance.

There are plenty of instructors in Tampa who are great salsa dancers, but few who are really good at teaching their craft. Maria and her staff at Dancin Motion really know how to teach you what it takes to be one of those great dancers. They give you every opportunity to get better at dancing, whether that's by repeating classes at no cost, offering drop-in workshops, or attending their weekly socials. If you want to learn how to dance, you will learn at DMSA. It's also a very family oriented studio, so there's no need to be embarrassed or ashamed. Everyone is very helpful including the students. That's the type of culture DMSA has.

The studio is open to students while classes are in session. The studio is also open during certain other calendar events such as socials or dance recitals, etc.
Yes, weekly. Check out their website. It has all the starting dates. Definitely a great place!
We do not offer classes in line dancing. However, some of our patterns may be used in line dances.
