A wonderful place to enjoy great fly fishing, amazing hospitality, and comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond in all aspects. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast lunch and dinner were all very tasty. I would highly recommend The Lodge on many levels.

What an amazing time we had at The Lodge at Palisades Creek! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcomed and at home. You don’t meet a stranger at the Lodge. Staff is the best. Friendly, efficient, they know their stuff! The food is delicious, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. Drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, are included and they have some great wines, scotch and local beers. The fishing was spectacular! Our guide, Scott, knew where to take us to catch fish. He was knowledgeable of the area and very personable. My hubby caught a beautiful cutthroat trout and Scott was just as excited as my husband in landing that fish. Our cabin was clean and cozy and our bed was very comfortable. Plenty of room and there was a welcoming bottle of wine and some snacks upon our arrival. This was a trip to remember and we are definitely going back next year.

The most amazing fishing vacation I could imagine. This is world class fly fishing. The service is outstanding. The staff is very professional. The guides are local and full of experience and knowledge. The fishing on the snake river is always excellent. There are 5000+ fish per river mile. Simply amazing. I love this destination. It is worth every penny. Thank you to the owner and the staff for running such an amazing destination.

Some friends and I visited the lodge for a vacation during school break, and were not really sure what to expect. I am a relatively new fly fisherman, and was a little intimidated to try my hand fishing big water out west. When we arrived we were shown us to our rooms which were fantastic. The beds were extremely comfortable and the amenities were comparable to a 5 star resort, with marble counter tops, ceiling high mirrors and rustic yet exquisite interior decoration. At the start of the first day we were paired with our guides, who were some of the most experienced fly fisherman I have ever met. One was a multiple time winner of the Jackson Hole one fly, and the other was the head guide of fly fishing legend Kelly Slater for twelve years. They both were extremely patient and knowledgeable, taking the time to coach me in proper casting technique, fly selection, and understanding fish behavior and patterns. At the end of the four days with them, I felt confident enough to fly fish anywhere in the world, learning years of knowledge in a few days. Beyond the fishing, the food was fantastic. Meals consisted of duck, elk short ribs, salmon and various other dishes prepared by the cooks who must have been classically trained, with the flavor only being rivaled by the presentation. The huckleberry ice cream is a must after dinner, as is a trip to the liars den, which is fully stocked with a selection of the finest liquors and cigars. By the end of the trip we had all caught fish over 20 inches, and had double digits in each of the boats. The action on the south fork was unlike anything I had ever seen, with what seemed like multiple rises and jumps every second during one morning. We will definitely be back to chase the trophy browns!
