Although this is supposed to be a residence and each lot has a mailbox, management will not register mailing address so you can not receive mail or packages. You have to pay the post office to keep your mail. Can not get mail, UPS, or Amazon deliveries. I have asked several times why all of mail is returned and management will only lie and say that there are no issues so i talked to the employees at the post office and was informed that it is because the owner wont pay to register out addressess so we have to pay the post office to collect our mail.

The owner Maida ask me to rent from her outside of the airbnb platform. We originally stayed in a 5th wheel with inadequate air conditioning. It was so hot in the middle of summer. My dog died in that unit in the heat. I had ask them to provide adequate air on 8 different occasions with text and email to prove it. The manager Mel Is the worst I have ever seen and then followed by her puppet Carrie who pretented to be nice to your face. We finally got moved to lot #29. They continuously knocked on the door for whatever reasons they want. The place is known for drug dealing and trouble for years in Hernando. We didnot know this when arriving. We watched as the employees sit and got drunk and did whatever they wanted daily. That was ok though because it's the managers husband. The entire park was like peyton place and non of them said anything good about the manager. To make it worse after no time #29 trailor was infested with Rodents. We had to handle them everyday. Do not rent anything from these people. I taped conversations and how the owner and managers just want your money. DO NOT STAY HERE AND GIVE THEM ONE DIME OF YOUR MONEY. Everyone told us what kind of trashy place and people we were dealing with after the fact. We did get one month rent back but nothing compared to putting up with these people, losing my dog and living with rats.

Place is run down. Doesn't work on trailers n noone is in office anymore. It was great when Doc n Laurie ran it. New people have no idea what they are doing. The new owners are from Wisconsin n bought 3 camps at once. Don't move here

Been here one year. The sign says 55+, but that is not accurate. A lot of young adults here, but, no children. It is fairly quiet. Security is good, and management is quick and responsive to the few minor problems I had with my unit. The trailer I rent is old, but utilities work. There is a boat launch, and plenty of waterfront to fish from. The only complaint I really have is that the dumpster is too small and overflows often. This is more like a trailer park than a fish camp, I don't think there are any short term rentals. Living here is ok, small yard to BBQ in, they keep it cut regularly.
