The view was breath taking! The water was chilly but the kids didn't mind. The camp ground was well kept and spacious and you didn't feel cramped in. The whole family had a great time here fishing, swimming, kayaking and soaking in the view.

We had some last minute travel changes and decided to find a campground in the Sawtooths on the 4th of July weekend. I found this one online, and thankfully there were still spots left for us! Absolutely breathtaking, especially at dawn when the water is smooth. There are some reservation sites, and then many first come sites. I highly recommend this campground out of sheer beauty. The bathrooms were also clean, and I noticed multiple potable water options. Since it's so beautiful, the place seems to be pretty busy...so if you're searching for seclusion and privacy, camp elsewhere and come visit the lake :) the campground does have quiet hours and they enforce those so we had no noise issues!

Only sites available were in the ‘expansion’ area in direct sunlight all day every day. Good for RVs? Not for tents. Lady ‘host’ was rude, so I left...go back down 455 to 640 on the right. Take it to the end of the dirt road. Much nicer, primitive and free!!! Photos from that site below.

Favorite campground ever. Easier to get Rolling Stones front row tickets than getting a reservation here, but well worth it if you score one! Sites 11-14 have great beach access, maybe 9 and 10 too but not positive.
