Awesome hike even for kids, the lake was calm and quiet and gave us amazing views of Redfish Lake on the way up.

Great half day (ish) hike from and back to the Redfish Trailhead. Seems to be a relatively easy hike for the area. Great views of Redfish Lake once you ascend to the ridge line. The Lakes are inside a Wilderness area, so no mountain biking. The trail only takes you to the first lake (or maybe the first two).

This is an easy to follow trail with great views along the ridgeline to the North of Redfish Lake. I took the boat across Red Fish Lake and hiked back to the lodge. I'm not certain I would want to do this trail roundtrip as a one way hike is pleasant, but I don't really have the urge to hike this trail again. Glad I did it, probably won't hike it again though.
