Had a great time! Kids were finding all sorts of little shells and cool rocks. The cp sites are clean and close to the water. They are shaded and also have a fire pit with a grill. We just went for day use to swim and the kids loved it. Very clean, shaded, easily accessible. Great place to bring your family.

Cove is pretty fun with individual, private sites for fishing, camping, day-use or overnight. This is a first come, first serve site and is a BLM campsite. There is a website. :)

Cove is a fantastic place to visit for either a day trip, camping, boating, or fishing. The area has a very large extensive campground. Every location has a shelter with a picnic table and fire pit (the last few were being installed the last time I visited). The campground is pet-friendly (on a leash). It can get a bit crowded during the summer so reservations are often a good idea.

The recreation site is maintained by the BLM. Camping is permitted for $12 and they have a camp host. No hook ups, but toilets and water are available to use. The site sits right on the water. Lots of wildlife.
