We love Lava Campground! Every year we have stay here it just gets better and better . Clean porter potties , clean showers & restrooms. The first year we visited we stayed in a cute Retro & added a tent to our site , our family had a blast . The following 2 years we have stayed at the RV spots, theyβre leveled and the grounds around the campground are always maintained & super green. They take pride in their campground. Last night we stayed in the wall tent & it was also fantastic. No matter where you stay here youβll be in love ! Perfect location & amazing playground for the kids .

This place is amazing. I could write a letter but Iβll try to keep it as short as possible. We are staying in one of their cool little retro camp trailers called the Daisy. The owners of this place have done an awesome job with this camp ground crating a perfect family camping experience. All the amenities you need. Everything is clean. There is a play ground with all of the great equipment we grew up with as kids (Iβll let you guess how old we areπ) Anyway, if you re ever in lava hot springs this is the best place to stay!

Showers were AWESOME, bathrooms were SPOTLESS, playground was fun even for adults. Tons of birds (Indigo buntings, red winged black birds and yellow warblers). So all that was great! However, the highway was pretty loud in our tent site, with trucks coming down the mountain with engine brakes. So that was rough. Then around 10pm a truck of some kind came around a was spraying stuff out the back with a like fire hose. No clue what that was, it did not smell great. Praying it was a non-toxic mosquito spray or something, got all in the tent and everything. So in conclusion, place would prob be perfect for RVing with sound insulation, but it wasn't the best tenting site situation with the hwy noise.

Amazing campground, amazing owners, amazing vibe and feel on the premises. Cameron and Annie run a top tier level campground! I can't say enough praises of them and the phenomenal efforts they put into the vibe of the campground. I felt like I was staying in a "best kept secret" paradise here! Truly an amazing experience. There are places for the kids to play, places to roam and hike, a trail that leads straight to the main lava hot springs, and simply a place to kick back and relax. I absolutely love this little slice of heaven! Oh and the little retro trailers they have created to stay in are AMAZING! We loved them! Your experience will be second to none. Lava Campground every year for us!!!
