Lazy R Campground & Cabins

Comming out or going into the Bighorn mountains stop here to rest. Quiet comfortable camp ground with very good rates. You can camp here and run up the mountain for the day, and stop at the coffee shop for morning breakfast and a lunch bag for the afternoon.

Nice small RV Park, in a residential neighborhood. Totally handled by email/text for reservations and check-in. Half the park is long term, the other half for travelers. Great place for a one night stop, as there isn’t much to do around there. Although there looked to be some nice hiking. There is a stream nearby, so the mosquitoes were out in force in early July. Walking distance to dollar store. They also have a little restaurant for Breakfast and Lunch. It is expensive though, ~$30 for two lattes and two small pieces of Quiche. Sites were cement strips, pretty level, but I had to put boards under one side. Showers and restrooms were clean and pretty good. The WIFI was good. The area was quiet, although there are trains that run nearby.

Park was clean and is easy to get in and out of. Short drive off the highway! Not many amenities and sites are close together but full hookups and picnic table at each sight! Can’t complain since we are just here for the night!

Clean, family run campground. Very convenient when we visit relatives in Ranchester. Would give it 5 stars except the RV sites are too close together and the wi-fi signal isn't especially strong.
