Stopped here for an impromptu lunch after visiting the Homestake mine visitor center. We had a group of 18 and everyone found something they liked, and that’s hard to do for my husband and me who are vegetarian. Super friendly staff. Even with a group of 18, out food was out relatively quickly. It was all warm. My sister had coffee and said it had great flavor. We noticed they had scones and caramel cinnamon buns and came back again 3 days later to get scones and buns. The food here does not disappoint! I was impressed with the caramel bun, very large in size and plenty of caramel on them! We took them to go and heated them up at our rental place. So fantastic! We also got a few of each scone, blueberry, apple, and raspberry with white chocolate. These were a hit as well! Great flavors and lots of fruit in them. I would highly recommend this place for coffee, breakfast, and lunch! Also have free Wi-Fi and outdoor seating.

So we were out walking this morning and decided to stop by Lotus Up and have a drink. My partner had a berry smoothie and I had a breve. Both drinks were very tasty and served quick. If you want a really good espresso drink, they still use a real machine! No super autos here! The coffee has a nice flavor, so go and enjoy! They have a cool view of the mine from the outside deck too.

This little shop was incredible! I stopped in here on a road trip and wished I lived close to here because I’d be here everyday. Our bagels we got were homemade and were the perfect consistency. We got the chai tea and coffee as well which were both delicious. The shop had very chill vibes and there were all sorts of nooks that would be great to do some reading. This is a must stop at shop!
