It's not the Hilton. But that's what makes it great. This piece if Americana is stuck somewhere between 1967 and 1974, and it's a blissful take on what the roadside motels of yesteryear were all about. The rooms are small, but adequate. Providing mini fridge, microwaves and coffee pots is a refreshing discovery considering that Hilton and Marriott still offer rooms in brand new establishments with no such amenities. The punter can walk out their door and throw a rock and hit the world famous Wall Drug stores across the street. This provides ample entertainment and food for a solid overnight stay. And at 7pm, the entire town rolls up the sidewalks and gets so quiet, you can hear your heart beating. Hotels generally don't provide many surprises, especially in their simplicity, but Ann's was impressively lovingly maintained by generational innkeepers who carry on the spirit of their parents, and the attention is reflected in the cleanliness of the establishment. You can stay at another chain motel down the street for twice the price, or you can come experience what traveling to the Black Hills was like in the golden age of road travel... It's not the Hilton indeed... but that's what makes it amazing. I'll be back for sure.

Great location to downtown Wall. Stayed in cabin 28, clean and comfortable. No breakfast. Parking at door.

Clean but old and out dated. Beds were fairly comfortable. Water soft and tastes funky bring water to drink. Staff friendly. Location great for wall drug. Small town not much there. Great coffee at a coffee shack down the road and great breakfast burritos next to it.

Called when it was going to be too hot to tent to determine if any vacancies- the desk phone was answered immediately (about 3pm) and we got one of the remaining two rooms available same night. Just over $120 with tax. The phone number I had to call after-hours when I forgot my key in the room, coached me politely and patiently through getting that corrected. Both the woman at the desk phone and the man who helped me re-locate my keys were the sweetest and helpful folks we met in the whole Badlands area.

I don't think Ann's motel allows pets, if you go on Google and find their site, under the about tab it says nothing about pets.
