The sample selection of dresses for BHLDN in the Chestnut Hill location are absolutely disgustingly filthy. Some of these dresses were so badly worn out, yellowed and darkly stained in the pits that they no longer resemble wedding gowns. Imagine wearing gym clothes over and over and over again for months and months and months with never washing them after sweating and then profusely every time you go to the gym. I’ve never seen something like this in my entire life. I understand not washing on a weekly basis, but this was in a whole different caliber of nasty. They also gave a top recommendation for a seamstress/tailor in Watertown who was an absolute agitation to work with. Simple tailoring for a simple plain modern dress and I walked out spending almost a grand for the adjustments. Everyone I talked to said this is outrageous figures for tailoring. I was in such a desperation situation where I only had a couple weeks to get a new dress and tailored given my first dress was an absolute nightmare custom designed gone wrong. Needless to say from top to bottom this was one of the most expensive, frustrating, annoying, gross…insert more adjectives. Will never recommend to future brides looking for a feel good, timeless , memorable, excitable experience. If given an opportunity to go back and do it all over I would have gone elsewhere in a heartbeat.

Manager was very nice and professional. I was only in town for a couple days and she put me on a waitlist in case there was a cancellation, and luckily there was one. On the day of the appointment, my stylist, Sarabeth, was also very kind and efficient. All in all a wonderful experience!

The quality of these bridesmaid dresses is superior to all others. But buyer beware they can not get fabric. I was told the dress was on back order and would be about 3week delay. We have a year until the wedding, so 3 weeks sounded like plenty of time. After 2 email notifications of additional delays, I just received a 3rd email stating my order was canceled. No phone call. No other options given. Just canceled. My phone call to them revealed it’s a fabric issue so all of our dresses were likely to be canceled as well. The wedding is still a year away! I’m not impressed with the bridesmaid dress selection from other designers so my frustration with this company is at its highest.

I had such a wonderful experience at BHLDN Chestnut Hill. Shinae was my consultant and she was amazing from start to finish. She took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and even went out of her way to check if any of the dresses I liked were back ordered before trying them on. The atmosphere here felt relaxed and I didn’t feel pressured. They have so many beautiful, high quality dresses and the prices cannot be beat. I’m so thankful I chose to come here first, I found my perfect wedding dress!

If you are referring to the staff, yes! If you are referring to the wedding dress offerings...yes unless the significant other or yourself were looking to wear a pant suit . It's just dresses!
Yes you need to make an appointment, and it's better if you take one week in advance.
