You’ll get over the smell when you realize the minerals in the water are good for your health! Awesome environment, this place is great to visit all year round! Multiple pools to hop around and explore. Plenty of wildlife that you’ll notice if you’re around during the day, lots of stars to peep if you’re around during the night. They recently renovated the changing rooms, which has been a plus. When the private pools open again, I highly suggest those too.

We only visited the hot springs (did not book a room) which were fantastic. There were so many different pools (probably 20 or more!). This allowed lots of privacy because many of the pools are small enough for only a couple of people. We really enjoyed the variety of pools and temperatures. We only spent a couple of hours here, but we could've been here longer. I wish they would've had more than just a snack bar, but otherwise this was a great experience. Just a note: there is no outside food or drink allowed, and there is no alcohol allowed either. The showers and locker rooms are nice! They have lockers in each of the locker rooms available for 50 cents, so bring quarters! Overall, this was a great experience.

The front desk ladies were super super nice! It was the first time my husband and I visited the springs. Since we were unfamiliar, the lady at the desk was so kind in telling us how the place worked. The magnesium pool was wonderful and the one at top was nice and hot with a water fall in it. The entire experience was relaxing and fun. I highly recommend coming here. We're going to come here as often as possible.

Great sulphur springs. We'd been told to go early or go late, and we should have heeded this tip as it was very crowded when we arrived at 4:30 on a Saturday. Tips: Bring sandals during the wintertime. The walking areas are covered with salt and hurt bare feet. Better than slipping! Also bring clothes to change into after showing. You really will want to shower because the sulphur smell is so strong. We didn't and we couldn't wear our clothes because they reeked of sulphur. There are two magnesium pools that are supposed to be good for sleep and aching bones. I must say, I had the best night of sleep in months after soaking in the magnesium pools. The lockers were completely taken when we arrived so we carried our bag around with us. It worked. Great springs that I'll go back to, but at a quieter time.

Questions & Answers

This is by far the best water I have experienced! The pool that has a fall is one of the best ones! It has 3 spots from where it feeds the pool and it has a small cave with super hot water!

A day pass for the pools is $20. There is a changing room, and sauna. Massage is available for additional cost. Pools close at 10pm. You are also free to use the day lodge, couches, internet, tv. And a small eating area to enjoy your own food that you bring. Lodging is optional. One advantage to staying at Cottonwood is 24 hour access to the pools. Rooms are basic and clean.

Yes you can. Great time to enjoy the pools. Wear sandals to avoid salty walk ways. And if its really cold bring extra towels to wrap up in between pools to stay more comfortable

Has anyone ever actually stayed at the resort in one of the cabins? I can't find any reviews for anything other than the springs. Even their website shows nothing to tell me what the rooms, cabins or apartments are like. Very frustrating!

We have not yet stayed at the resort but do have a room booked. We were told that the room doesn't have y fy or a coffee pot but includes the pool for check in and out day. Call, they are honest over the phone. Feeling the rate was very reasonable.

I'm not sure that they have one. It's $20 a person. You have to wear a facemask between each pool. Pavement is hot you will want to wear shoes between each pool also.
