I was on my way to La Teresita Cafe, when I noticed this place. I wanted a Cuban sandwich to sit in the cell phone lot at the airport while waiting to pick someone up. The sandwich picture on the building is what caught my attention. I thought, let me give them a try. I ordered a sandwich and she said “no”. I ordered a different sandwich she said “no” again. I asked if there were any sandwiches .... she said “no”. She took a spoon and mixed the rice and pointed to the hot food on display. As I began to leave I looked again and there was a pressed sandwich wrapped on the back counter behind her. There were two loaves of Cuban bread in clear plastic.... mind you this is a “market”. ... no sandwiches. ?

Today (01-10-2020), the guy in the meat department with white ear buds in , was so unprofessional I vow never to buy anything from a deplorable place that hires people with no tact and lack of customer service experience. I will tell my family and friends this establishment will never get another cent from my family and I.

Somewhat fair. Not a friendly welcoming atmosphere. I was a frequent customer before the former owners closed a few years ago. I seldon visit the store, but only to pick and go anything vegie. My advice to customers is to be aware that if you purchase anything and by any of those moment you forg3t the item after you had paid....the store will ignore your claim...and say IF SOMEONE TOOK YOUR BAG IS UP TO THE MANAGER . Never buy anything more than $20. It's very disappointing preferably loosing valuable customers for a few dollars. I'm a Davis Island resident.
