I have been so pleased with the library. Ii just picked up the last of a series of 27. I received it at special request in record time . I only wish that the Friends of the Library had a used book store where I volunteered in Arizona. It was a very good moneymaker and helped to defray the cost of new books for the library. But, our library is wonderful so I will just shut up with my suggestions.

I typed in the wrong number of copies and the attendant wouldn't stop it. They said they wouldn't credit my account. I now have no more credit for copies to finish my work project.

Yes you can use your Poudre library card for Kanopy and get 4 free films per month.
Yes, you're allowed to browse materials inside the library for a limited amount of time. More info here: https://read.poudrelibraries.org/events/coronavirus.cfm
Hi Peije, On the library's website, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Ask-a-Librarian if you want to email and have someone work with you to figure out the title. If you have your Reading History turned on, then you should be able to see what you have previously checked out under My Account on the website. Otherwise calling will work too 😊
There is a Pace Bike Station in front of this library.
I think they go above and beyond for homeless as evidenced by the weekly collaboration with social services. Also the homeless intimidate the tax payers from using the establishment - the ones whose money funds the library - especially when a ragged person gets loud and appears out of control and requires security to keep things civilized. Still they don't turn people away based on appeance. You just need to be mellow and clean up after yourself. Try to be agreeable and not take directions as an assault. If you do that the librarians and the security will go out of their way to help you out of your unfortunate situation. They are loaded with resources and have kind hearts when not afraid of what your next move might be. Look around and you will see many homeless people being treated like everyone else.
