Very disappointed. I brought in 30+ items, some new and in season, as well as some high-end clothing brands, all clean and in excellent condition. After waiting an hour, my bag was ready for pickup. They informed me they weren't taking anything. What?? Why?? When I got home with my bag, I realized the clothes were still folded, by me, and packed in the bag in the same order I packed them. If these clothes had been looked at, I find it hard to believe they would be exactly as I brought them in. As other reviews stated, don't waste your time bringing your consignment here. Disappointed customer!!

I almost always find great deals at this store. My daughters love to shop here too

They have a great variety of nice clothes at a decent price however you don’t get very much money back for items that you sell them. I sold them probably 5 or 6 items yesterday and got a total of $13.00. You get a much better deal selling back to Plato’s closet.

First time there and loved it!

They might if within 2 years old
They pay inmediately 😉
Thank you for asking . We have purchased this brand in the past but it always ends up on clearance so we no longer purchase it .
Women's clothing only
You can call before you go and inquire about how busy it is if you don't have a lot of time to spend there... Also they are very particular about the clothes they accept... Surely most people will bring in very nice things... But you'd be surprised sometimes certain things get declined and it was so nice... But they have their reasons sometimes for turning clothes or other accessories down... Also the amount of money 💰 they will give you will be very small for the items... Bcuz they have to resell it at a affordable rate... While there I noticed many people who bring in clothes or accessories also shop there... I believe that if you elect to get your credit for the Merchandise you bring in for Store Credit, that you may get just a little more, however I'm not 100% certain about this but you can always double-check with them there if that's something you're interested in pursuing ... They have very nice things and an affordable rate...
Yes we follow all Covid guidelines with cleaning , masks and social distancing
Thank you for asking . We do not buy clothing for juniors as we specialize in women’s clothing . Platos specializes in juniors so you might try them . Have a great day
You need to go there and bring your clothes. They will inspect and buy if they want them.
Yes we do . Depends on style and resale value. Once we evaluate it and if we determine we can resell it for $50.00 or more then we give you 1/2 of that. Otherwise we pay approximately 1/3 of it's resale value.
Hi there Francesca!! Clothes Mentor is Plato's sister company (jrs.)~payout is about the same. For your high ticketed items I would leave those online otherwise for less pricey things not moving it's definitely worth a shot! I hope this helps! Good luck :-)
Thank you for asking. We do have dressy dresses. No official "prom" dresses
Yes we accept items on Sundays noon until 4 pm without an appointment. How to see you soon. We apologize if this answer was too late for today's business. Please feel free to call us at 727-216-6101.
I believe it is a brand that they have on hand, but it depends on the inventory in the store and the condition of your items. Because if you have "loved it too much" they will not accept it in the store for resale.
I have not seen any of the uniforms at any of the second shops
Each store has a different inventory level/consumer demand. For instance a CM in Orlando may have 20 Coach purses that aren't selling, so they wouldn't buy yours at that time, while a CM at a different location may be in an area of high demand of that brand. I've never been to this location personally, but I used to work at a great Clothes Mentor in Ocoee. As long as your name brand items are authentic (they are not allowed to purchase faux Coach, Louis Vitton, etc) and in good condition they will go through your items and give you a cash offer for what they want to buy from you. You can always choose to accept their offer or decline it. Just keep in mind that they do offer great prices for their customers, and need to make a profit, so keep in mind that you may not always get an offer price you were hoping for. I would at least bring it in, they will give you cash if they want to purchase your bags. Good luck:)
