I visited Black Market Minerals today to pick 2 replacement cords for the salt rock lamps I had purchased from them several years ago; I live in Dallas so, hence the delay. As I was looking through the store, I noticed some additional items that caught my attention, and I carefully held each item to sense its vibration. I had no intention of getting any of these items; however, as my Dad is going in for surgery in 2 days - and I'm the only surviving "next of kin" - I realized how on edge I was while standing in the store and these particular stones resonated with me and felt calming. The gentleman at Black Market Minerals who assisted me showed me a level of kindness that is sorely lacking in many areas of our society these days. I literally had tears running down my face for about 10 minutes after leaving the store as I sat in my car to get a handle on my emotions. A message to Mr. "Born in San Antonio and Raised in Maryland" -- thank you, Sir, for your kindness and compassion. I have a distinct feeling that I will remember you with love each time I embrace these stones -- and that makes them all the more special! You are so very right in that kindness is to be paid forward. Big hugs to you... ~Raine

Not my favorite store here at old town but it's a good big one . Bought lots of stuff for only 6.93

We really loved this shop. Huge collection of rocks and minerals can't leave you indifferent. Lovely stone crafts, druses, crystals and nice staff make this shop just unique. Recommend!

Customer service is great here! We spoke with a woman who had a plethora of knowledge about the crystals sold here! Prices are great. U can buy a bag and take it outside to "mine" it in the water with the strainer.. sorry idk what it's called. They have every crystal i can think of and much much more. U feel healed just walking inside. They have incense and minerals and Sage and so many other things that I don't even know the actual names of and if u can't find someone to help, they have papers with the stones names on them and a description of what they're good for. I go in Everytime I go to old town

Only what they have in bags no actual mining
No, we do not have any moldavite. Most of it has been mined in the Czech Republic because of the demand for it recently. Influencers on TikTok have made people want moldavite even more; that's when the price per gram skyrocketed. It is now around $100 per gram. If you want real moldavite, I recommend you check things online very carefully. Some people in China have been cashing in on the trend by selling fake moldavite made of dyed glass. If it looks wet and glassy, it's usually fake. Don't always trust sellers with a certificate of authenticity; anyone can easily fake one. If the price seems too good to be true, it is usually fake moldavite. Sellers will get their moldavite directly from the Czech Republic. Thank you. -Kylie, BMM
Yeah they have what you're looking for and at a decent price.
This area of Google Maps is for information about driving directions and customer comments about businesses, restaurant food quality Etc. I hope this helps in the future. Like the previous comment I would try to reach them by phone.
Yes
Yes they do. I bought a shungite Pyramid and keep it in front of my monitors.
Walk in the store and ask one of us. We have a paper job application form you can fill out with your basic info like your name, number, and street address. We can use your number if we need to contact you.
They sell a variety of stones and crystals. Not sure if they carry that particular item.
In person is best. Chelle (the manager and boss) hired me on the spot when I had my interview.
No. Our dreamcatchers, for instance, are made in Indonesia. There is a disclaimer on some products regarding the US law about claiming a product is Native American or made by Native Americans. If we claim it was made by them and it's really not, we could get sued for a lot of money for false advertising.
Yes! It is open from 11am - 9pm. Wear a mask and enjoy such a magnetic/energetical mystical place.
I went last weekend. They were open, after 12pm. It's a bit hectic with all the people going in and out. But they are taking protective measures.
You can , they do sell everything by the pound but I personally dont cause it adds up quick $$$ I buy by the ounce. Cause 1 pound in that store = $100 depending on what you get
I'm not sure if the large display of incense will be too much for animals... they're not lit, but are purfumy (spelling/actual word?) in that part of the store.
