please please read !!! we went to shelton to treat my puppies hookworms. we had taken him there for about 3 months (going every 2 weeks) to treat these worms. we were very clean with our puppy as that helps treat hookworms - every time we went i felt like shelton was blaming us for why he was not getting better. also every time, shelton was unsure which medication they had put my puppy on - this was a huge red flag. they were extremely unorganized. the last visit we had with shelton my puppy was only supposed to go in for a “friendly visit” aka a weight check. without our consent, shelton did tests on him and handed us a bill. we did not consent to this as he just had these tests a few days prior and did not need it again (shelton was aware of this because they did the tests prior). i probably shouldn’t have paid the bill, but i did anyways. i really felt like they were just trying to get money out of us. our puppy saw no improvement from shelton. long story short, they were not able to treat my puppies hookworms. so, we wanted to try another vet because 4 months plus with hookworms isn’t normal. my puppy saw pine lakes animal hospital ONCE and is now hookworm free. save your money and time, do not come here. super disappointing because we’ve taken all our pets here. they have definitely changed since covid , totally don’t recommend anymore.

As I am new to the area I was in need of a Vet, not only for the care of my service pup but also boarding when I needed to have a medical procedure performed. Since I have had my pup we have only been apart for no more than 8 hours and both of us were stressed of the upcoming separation. When we arrived, we were treated by Taylor, a Vet Tech who was very compassionate of our situation. Taylor reassured me he would be fine and well taken care of. To my surprise no less then a few hours later I received pics of Roscoe to see how he us and was adjusting to the separation, along with a update on how he was doing. Well evidently he was having the time if his life. i In fact he was hoping around the yard when brought out. Keep in mind for 115 pound dog to bounce is quite a feat! When I was able to pick him up Tayor again happened to be our tech . I received a full brief on his stay and was again throughly impressed with the detail she went into. Lastly I would like to thank Samantha who in the rain went out and tried to find a card I misplaced (turned out it was in the Truck) as it was nasty out.their is on tech Vicki, who deserves a big thank you, as Roscoe wanted to play with the cats at the clinic on the way out to me and when told no, peed on the floor.Vicki Again Thank You. Honestly All I can say, if you lived in the vicinity of Shelton's I highly recommend having your pet ( no matter type) be taken here foyr all your pets needs and services, I know Roscoe will go nowhere else from NOW ON.

This place is by far the best vet around. With dr stephanie also all the vet techs are awesome and debbie and kelly in the front are the best. They always make time to explain everything to me .i wouldnt go anywhere else!

This place is a great place to start. They are great. I have 2 dogs they care for.
As far as I'm aware the same procedures are followed for everyone
I don't know. I would call and ask. I have a year and 1/2 Shepard Husky mix that has a foot problem and they could not fix so they sent us up to Gainsville Veterinary school It's pretty jammed up and its cash just to walk in $60.
Yes. Call to schedule an appointment
