If I could have given no stars I would've. I literally stayed for 3 weeks until the Park Manager, who is nothing short of a bully, called me into her office to let me know that our son has overstayed his welcome and was subject to a fee. She talked down to me, scolded me, was combative, hostile and just plain rude. I should've known from the first hour and a half meeting with her, background check, that had to be paid in cash and after she insisted my husband fly from NY for a face to face. It is a gorgeous park, due to the great neighbors I had, but I could not justify living in a park where I was uncomfortable at. I can only imagine that she wants nothing but sub missives living there. I am really concerned with how the other residents are being treated.

I moved here from NC 2 years ago and really love living here. This is a quiet and safe environment perfect for single, retirees and is constantly patrolled by the volunteer neighborhood watch through the local Sheriffs department. There is a beautifully well-kept, small pond with a nightly, colorful center water fountain leading into a pleasant 55+ neighborhood. We have a nice pool and clubhouse area along with well lit, clean, maintained streets for easy strolls with pets. Management is always on site and cares about the property and its residents. HOA membership is optional and some homeowners are FMO members. It’s conveniently located to shopping, dining and all other services within the small town environment of Inverness and just a short walk to a Dollar General store in located beside the park.

I paid to have background check, to which the I do not have any felonies or evictions. Well for unknown reasons I was denied. I guess I was denied because of my age, even though she told me that legally she has to allow 20 percent under 55. Either way I lost the money for the background check.
