An awesome whitewater park with several features along a walkable stretch of river. Great spots for surfing and playing with rafts, kayaks, SUPs, and surfboards. Be careful at the last feature because the river feeds into a Class III rapid quickly.

Whitewater Park in the heart of Buena Vista and in a scenic strech of the Arkansas River. The home of Paddefest every Memorial day, you can watch kayakers, anglers, rafters and stand up paddleboards navigate the riffles and waves. Trails parallel the river on both sides and make for great hiking year round. Restaurants and shopping are right across the park. Just down the street from the skate park, bmx course and sports fields. Never a dull moment in this neck of the woods. Dizzy Duzz Buena Vista!

Gorgeous spot easy to access and options to just chill by river, hike or picnic and volleyball in the park. Beautiful views! Saw some people skimboarding the water. Easy to find parking and clean bathrooms. Raft/kayak/boat access.
