My husband and I shared a breakfast meal which was more than enough for us. Large portions. Reasonable prices. Waitress was very nice and helpful when we asked about things to do in town.

We were seated immediately, drink orders were taken and when the drinks were back, we were ready to order. Very generous pours also were much appreciated! My 8oz New York strip steak was gigantic and far more than 8oz. Again, no complaints here! Fast, friendly service is much appreciated. Definitely worth a visit when in Cripple Creek.

Walking into Maggie's is like stepping back in time in the best way. We ordered their famous biscuits and gravy, and a sausage breakfast burrito smothered with green chili. Got a side of their pancakes, too. The meals we ordered would have easily fed 4-5 people (huge portions) and we were glad to have the leftovers to take with us. The eggs were perfect, the hash browns were crispy, green chili was flavorful without being overly spicy, the pancakes and sausage gravy have a well deserved reputation! Next time we're in Cripple Creek (or even nearby), we'll be back to visit Maggie's!

I want to say the service was excellent. The atmosphere was romantic. It is 21+ only which is even better but... unfortunately.. the food was awful 😬 Not tooo horrible to not eat any at all but not good enough to finish. We'd also been driving for 10 hours. We got Jalapeno poppers, Burger and the Shrimp Alfredo. The Alfredo tasted like mozzarella and milk boiled down and left an almost gritty texture in the mouth. The Jalapeño poppers tasted like raw bell pepper, with some nacho cheese, fried. The burger was decent, a bit overcooked from what was ordered. I'm not sure how the other restaurants in town compare as this was the first place we went after getting our cabin.

Yes. It is downstairs from the casino. It has its own treet level entrance that does not go through the casino.
