This place is amazing! We arrived 5 minutes before the closure, Scott, one of the manager welcomed us like friends, found us a wonderful room and even a little something to eat. Literally saved the day. I've been traveling for a month in the USA now, and this the best place I've stopped by. Ther's even a fox, named Robin, so lovely and cute. Everything was perfect! I totally recommend this lodge.

This place!!! The food sooo good, the staff A++++++++. After repeatedly being disappointed with Alexander Lodge Restaurant being "open" to tour busses or lodgers only, we went to eat at the Mesa Lodge's Restaurant and so happy we did. Long Island Ice Tea, perfect with my mushroom and Swiss burger and fries. They are faithfully open 8-8 7 days a week. Our new favorite Restaurant when camping on the Grand Mesa.

I stumbled across this place on a motorcycle trip and got a cabin for the night. So glad I did! The staff here were super friendly and accommodating. The cabin was rustic but that added to its charm. It was clean and comfortable. The location is breathtaking with the tall pines and view of the lake.

What a cozy lodge! We stopped by while headed to Montrose and ate lunch here. The chicken drumsticks and peach beer were yummy! The hospitality is excellent—my husband commented that it feels like eating at a distant relative’s home! They were helpful and friendly with directions too and asked us repeatedly how we’re doing. The scenery is nice, very close to a gorgeous lake. I’m glad we ate here rather than a noisy restaurant in Montrose.

Yes, the owners are wonderful people. They have done weddings in the neighboring mountains and they have a place with a gorgeous view near the lodge.
