Make appt. Online, then go 15 minute early. GREAT system and staff here. In/out with CDL in 20 minutes!

Going into the dmv was a super easy and quick process. Everyone was so eager to complete their work and help their customers. They were all smiling and happy to be there. I took a regular licensing and my Cali ambulance written test. I wouldn't have though I could complete it all in one day but they made it possible. Thank you all so much!

I had an appointment, don't know if it helped or not. About a 10 wait. The registration renewal was handled efficiently. Took off one star because DMV system would not allow my two vehicles to be renewed online for NO apparent reason!!

You can fill out forms online before you go, schedule appointment, or see if there is a wait. No wait for handicapped. Efficient staff.

They are not making new appts. Right now. But tou can walk in and get it started.
Birth Certificate , Social Security Card, 2 forms of proof of residence. ie; insurance mailed to you. And medical bills. You can look on DMV.Gov under real I.D requirements.
You have to make an appointment at their website
Yup, have your birth cert. ? Social?
Just take the pink slip of the vehicle and a copy of DL of the person you're adding and pay the pink slip replacement fee.
Yes, they're usually pretty quick with the numbers. The longest I've waited lately was maybe 20 minutes
They do accept walk-ins but choose your time of day wisely because the line can get long.
Suggestion is to always make an appointment.
Yes it dose or go on line and u can pick your ticket number right before you show up
You can go to the place where you paid or cut it
Yes. But you really don't need to. The line moves very fast. It would probably take you longer to make the appointment than it would to just show up
Probably not but I would take them just in case. You never know what might has changed
Then go to Dmv with paperwork you have and they will help you
I'm sorry but I don't know about that
Walk ins are ok
use Google...
92 yo, she would probably need to be with somebody...
If you are the registered owner
If you don't have to change the address you might be able to renew it online from the DMV website. If you do need to change the address then you will need to show up in person at the DMV with two items showing that you live at the new address. You can use a bill from one of your utilities or a mortgage statement or even the renewal notice if it was sent to the new address. And of course in either case you missed pay the renewal fee if you want the real ID then you will also have to provide proof of citizenship when you go to the DMV. For that you can use U.S. birth certificate, U.S. passport, certificate of naturalization or citizenship, employment authorization document, permanent resident card, or foreign passport with an approved form I-94). You should also bring your social security card
No u can't do that I believe bro
I tried the other day and couldnt. But walked into Napa DMV and got my real I.D done in 30 min. So easy.
8-5 Mon Tue Thur Fri.....Wed 9-5. HOWEVER this DMV is unique in that it normally opens @7:45a Mon , Tues , Thurs and Fri
No
Yes there is a stop right outside the building on the street
If you want a California license you must take the California exam. Your license from another state does not carry over if you want one in California
Anything on the road must have some form of registration. Although it is not the same registration as a car , it must be inspected and deemed road worthy.
You shouldn't apply by phone so they can reinforce their place and duty as the department of motor vehicles for the state of California. It gives the people more security to know this is done in face to face setting. Come into the office.😉🤣
Yes.
I don't know about the "sample" tests but you are allowed to retake the test up to 3 times. And if at that point you still haven't passed you can start the process all over again on your learner's permit. Be clear when I say start the process over , meaning paying the fee's. Good luck
Yes
Not Napa
Your doctor will need to provide the form that states you are disabled and dmv can assist you after that. They can provide a temporary one if you're injuried and just need it temporarily but it all starts with your doctor
Did you get a bill of sale? Buying a salvaged vehicle doesn't require any extra paperwork on the seller's side. You as the buyer must get a brake and light inspection , a smog certificate and get it registered. If you at least got a bill of sale you can fill out a statement of facts and dmv personnel can assist you with any additional paperwork you might need. If you did NOT get a bill of sale my question would be WHY?
I believe they will send it to the address they have on file for you. However if you just moved I'm not sure how long it takes that process to go into the computer. Unfortunately the very best way to ensure they have all your current information is to go into the office. But I am not an employee of DMV , they are a client of mine. I work at DMV not for them.

Once I sold a car I manual transferred the title to new owner same day on dmv online. Since you have no info I strongly suggest going to dmv to resolve the issue.
21655b is a carpool violation with obscured signs
Apply in person with appropiate ID stating you are the person applying for that ID
Sometimes DMV will get a notification from CHP or the police if they have had an encounter with a driver that they feel might need to requalify for their license. DMV personel won't necessarily know the reason why but there will be a flag on that person's renewal at which time DMV will go through the steps required. People get angry at the DMV staff thinking they are being unreasonable but it is not them. When a license is flagged all appropiate documents must be submitted and depending on the person's age or medical history a doctor's note stating they are healthy enough to proceed with DMV's requirements must be submitted. There is a form for almost every situation. I don't know your medical history or your age so not sure if any of that is revelant to your situation.
He probably doesn't need anything since he had an i.d. already. They can look him up. But if you want to be cautious he could take his birth certificate along. Pretty sure that won't be necessary though.
Get your Replacement at the DMV.You can also get your replacement at any Driver Licensing Office. To apply for a replacement Driver's License,Permit or State Identification Card, a resident must submit the following: ... The appropriate License Fees.
No. I would recommend you go between 4-4:30. I have had good luck with shorter lines during that time.
There is a number you can call, its an automated system that will allow you to make the changes, you can also go online to the official DMV website and choose the Napa CA DMV and from there follow the screen prompts to schedule a new date, furthermore for most transactions they have a No appointment line, so you can just show up and for most cases they will tend to you. My experience has not been the best at this DMV there is a mob mentality with most of the workers there, not all and their customer service is horrible, but if you inquire and are persitent and ask questions and even do your homework before you arribe about what you might need it will help your experience be more rewarding.
If you are having difficulty with using the computer DMV will set you up in one of their office's and let you take the written test on paper. They are aware that not everyone is computer savvy.
Up to the airlines but I doubt it
Check your bank account, because I don't think they can accept any form of payment till the smog test is passed
Go in and get another temporary one
Call or do a walk in. They are usually very fast!
Not if it's been smogged in the last 30 days or you keep your name on the title too
ID is optional driver license can be used as ID as well
No
Bring old one and pay fee
If the police should ask you anything they can call the computer system and find out that you are legal
Reset user name and password
No. Just come before 1630
Best if u come in and ask since each case is different
No. Walk in
It takes between 15 and 21 days
Depenss on size
what happens that urges me to go to Mexico and I have to go to get the permit to take out the van and they told me that I would be ready from today to tomorrow without fail ... I can go pick it up myself
I believe it's only through an 800 number so there's a long wait Better to go down in person they are very efficient
Dont think so
Yes. You will get a paper copy valid for 60-90 days
