Ms. One of a kind

Beautiful outlook over the north end of the city. Full of history and equipped with the informational plaques to tell it. Moutain bike and foot trails are popular for those looking for a challenging afternoon. They have a couple tables and restrooms to make this a good place to enjoy a small pickic. The road leading to the park is a bit dangerous with blind curves and no shoulder but worth the anxiety. Please remember to use the provided cans for disposing of your trash .Bring water bottle if you plan to hike.

It was a dark and stormy night, so I went there to see the storm roll in. But instead I just got a picture of the haze from the wildfire along i80.

Great view. Picnic tables. Plenty of seating. Some short trails to explore.

This place is beautiful! I just wish it was better taken care of. There's trash everywhere, and I do mean everywhere. It has some great trails and sites. Our kids loved it too, it was like an adventure for them. We go every time we're in Council Bluffs.

Why all the locks

Junior Johnson | Jul 17, 2018
Driver Doug “Doug” | Jul 18, 2018

One possible explanation for the locks on the bars of the wrought iron mettle fences is to symbolize the commitment made in marriage to lock lives together. A couple of the locks have names and dates on them. Google WEDDING LOVE LOCK.
