We just needed a place for the night. Called to see about any open spots around 2:30 pm. We told the gentleman (Bill I believe) we were about 2 and 1/2 hrs away yet. He said he had a pull through spot for us, we paid over phone with him and he put our papers in mailbox for checking in after he was gone for the day. Very nice guy. Made it so easy for us. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for the great experience 🙂

This place is great! It's well maintained. The staff is really nice. A lot of the sites have a nice view of the river. We have water and electricity. There is a dump station at the campground. We paid $30 per night. One FYI: anyone with allergies may have a problem with the cotton wood trees.

Nice campground but it was very noisy. We were in site 17 and the traffic noise from the interstate and the trains was loud and nonstop. The grounds were kept nice and it was a fantastic stop and go place or to run around the city. I would never come here to camp though. City camping isn't my thing.

On the Missouri River looking across to Iowa while standing in Nebraska. Needs a bit updating. Clean, great views, some shady spots mixed with open sky. Caught Old Glory in a fiery set. Would come again.
