Quiet small campground with an oxbow lake

Very nice place. Trails mowed and well marked. Restroom facilities had not been addressed since the last high water; 3/4" of dried mud on the floor and flood debris 3' up on the wall. Great potential, just needs more attention.

The place is kind of falling apart. They have cut down a lot of trees and left slash piles all over along the road. The trees that were cut down were just pushed into a pile. The firewood could have been cut up and piled up in the campground for campers to use. But since it's not close to Omaha or Lincoln it's not going to get any attention or money spent to improve or maintain it. Sad.

This place is a quiet, peaceful campground that’s tucked away from the typica busy, overpopulated campgrounds. My husband and I took our 3 kids and 2 dogs here and we really enjoyed ourselves. Suzanne the campsite host was so friendly and welcoming! I wish more people knew about this place, but then again I want it to stay as peaceful as it is. We will definitely be back!
