OLLI at Cal State Fullerton provides just what I need as a senior to keep my mind active by learning about a huge number of subjects at very little cost (with the plus that there is no homework or tests). It provides an opportunity to socialize with other seniors on the campus of a major university to keep me from becoming socially isolated. OLLI's Collaboration program gave me the opportunity to use my career skills to help college students, and I am able to use my career management experience by volunteering to help run the organization. That's perfect for a guy like me, who seems to need to produce something to feel useful, even though I don't get paid for it. My remuneration is self fulfillment.
