The library is really nice. It is always clean. The staff is extremely friendly. They are very helpful, and resourceful. Every question I had, I got an answer. It was wonderful to have a helpful change. Good, clean, quite very nice.

Wow. The former library just a stone throw's away was a mainstay of my childhood. Not much but back then it was all we had unless you had someone drive all the way to Norwalk and then later on La Mirada. For years before we moved they were threatening to tear that little library down. Now it seems they did, but to create something so much nicer on the corner of what as once Monte Vista High School Home Of The Mustangs. Happy for you, but also a little sad as well.

Best toddler story time ever. I have been to others in the surrounding area and South Whittier rocks. Also the library is newer, has multiple programs and activities, and their staff is very friendly.

So glad this is my new south Whittier library. I am regular from when it was the smaller branch off leffingwell and this new one is sooo much bigger and better than the old location. Lots of the same sweet and caring staff are also there to serve😊 They have a totally awesome and huge childrens area with tons of toys, kid computers, and comfy chairs for moms to relax in. There are also various quiet corners to go and hideout and read in.
