Amazing location! Just remember to be prepared for mosquitos.

This place was beyond amazing. The old growth trees will astonish. Trails are well kept, but a few more directional signs would be welcome. I will say it was quite popular for being so off the beaten path. Only complaint, no TP in the privy :/

Nice trails to hike around on while looking at some amazing old trees.

When I visited, it seemed like there was only one unpaved roadway that cut through the 40 acres, a small pull-off parking area, and one trail across from it that had a few different interconnected routes (but they weren't very lengthy). There is an excessive amount of mosquitoes everywhere during warmer months, so those will annoy you unless visiting during colder months and/or the overwhelming power of the old-growth forest captivates you enough to stay longer than I did. I'd imagine you could spend about 15 to 30 minutes hiking around the area, but it probably wouldn't take more than an hour of exploring until you'd be satisfied. I don't recommend going out of your way to visit the area though, and instead suggest spending a few hours at the Itasca State Park - which is much larger, far more enjoyable, and also has sections of old-growth forests to appreciate.
